Our training curriculum is constantly evolving to meet our clients’ objectives. Here are some of the programs we offer:
We provide training for every product we sell, including Xinet FullPress and WebNative, Pageflex, and our own line of NAPC products. For each, we cover general theory, every option within the GUI, plus special command-line configuration options.
Leverage your technology to the fullest with sessions on Triggers and Actions, How to Build a Client Extranet to Distribute Assets Globally, and Change Management, to name just a few.
Unlike many server production systems, Xinet doesn’t change the way people work, so only minimal training is required for most users. We’ll show them all the essentials – e.g., new workflow efficiencies your system offers. If you have a very large workgroup, we can train trainers in your office to expedite your roll-out.
If new people join your staff or others need brushing up, our refresher classes can get them up to speed fast.
One of the great advantages of working with us is we train you on the system you bought, at our state-of-the-art facility. You gain valuable experience on equipment already configured for your environment, so you’re ready to hit the ground running when you return.
Before we do anything else, we gain a thorough understanding of your current workflow and existing systems, as well as your goals and objectives. This allows our team to design a solution – including a training regimen – that’s exactly right for you.
When we build your system, we duplicate your actual environment. Hardware is configured, workflows set up, volumes mounted. Once it’s all staged, we run your system hard – for about 2 weeks. When it’s ready, we’ll ask you to send us 2 or 3 of your top people (systems administrators, production managers, studio heads).
For 2-3 days, your people will learn system administration, customization and application management away from the distractions of the office. It’s a perfect opportunity for them to live it and breathe it. Quite often during these sessions, we discover new ways for our customers to improve their workflow processes.
After installing, testing and ramping your system into full production at your site, we’ll train your administrators – again – before moving on to your users. As long as you need us, we’ll be there. We’ll even come back after 30 days to make sure everyone is getting the most out of the new system.
