As good as Xinet is for managing, sharing and archiving digital assets, NAPC’s BrandControl suite makes it even better. With four essential plugins for UI, user access, reports and file transfers, BrandControl completes Xinet’s DAM environment. Right out of the box, you have the perfect solution for building, customizing and maintaining full-featured asset management sites for your company or clients.
15 years ago, NAPC started writing custom interfaces for Xinet. Major cruise lines, soft drinks, and computer manufacturers used our UI to be their face to partners around the world. Over time, we started seeing a common theme in the asks:
Simpler- intuitive, easy to use, with words instead of icons.
Faster- Speed drives experience. We obsess over page load and response times. E6 is fast, and speed almost always trumps new features.
Easier- Share assets with ease, and without clogging the mail server(or having *old* versions floating around).
CB5 (Creative Banks 5) is an incredibly simple way to grant users access to your Xinet server. The 5th major version, it’s a mature product that offers unparalleled ease of introducing folks into your server.
AD integration- Works with Active Directory, seamlessly
Easy control of your Brand- Spin up a new branded access site in minutes, without coding, and without a steep learning curve.
Single Administration- There’s only one URL to go to. E6 with CB5 gives you a simple, secure application to do anything and everything with Xinet users
“Just to put it out there, I really like what I see … Speed is great and the layout is a lot nicer and modern. Lots of new features that are very much appreciated.”
“I feel as though this is light years ahead of what we had.”
“Looks great guys. Fast as all get out. Super-clean UI….Pretty snazzy”
“First of all, LOVE IT!”
“Really impressed and liking it so far … and things just feel snappier in the UI.”
“Everything looks so great! I am very excited about this interface!”
“Speed is great and layout is a lot nicer and modern. Lots of new features that are very much appreciated”

RG3 is a great leap forward in reporting. Xinet logs everything. All the time. Getting to the data though means going here and there, merging data on your own, formatting it, and then making it pretty.
We let you automate the process with rich html, CSV, or PDF reports alongside stunning graphics.
You can’t charge for what you can’t show, and RG3 gives you easy access to the data that drives engagement and your business.
nTransit is your return receipt requested delivery system for Xinet assets. Easily set up a way to send (or receive) files from you customers or vendors. Send access to files via drag and drop into a folder, or a web screen.
Stop guessing if a file was delivered. nTransit gives you positive feedback and secure logs regarding delivery and access.
Recently rewritten from the ground up, nTransit now shares the same intuitive, easy to use, configuration interface used by the rest of NAPC’s brand control suite. Faster. Smoother. Easier. Betterer. (thats a technical term)
With RSS feeds, email feedback, and a web interface, you always know where you stand. And your files.
NAPC has been writing awesome custom code for decades. Our development team has been Agile for over 4 years, (RP is a signatory of the Agile Manifesto) so you get feedback throughout the process, and are sure to get the exact results.
Whether you need this to talk to that, a new look and feel, or revamped production processes with automation, you can give us a call or fill out a Statement of Work form here.
Solid code from a stable team of geniuses.
Some examples of our past work:
SAML SSO login to Xinet, using either ADFS or an IdP.
Creation and filing of multiple versions of files when they ‘hit’ a Xinet server.
Pushing Xinet previews and metadata and the assets URL into Workfront.
Custom interfaces for Client facing DAMs
Robust asset ingestion – thousands of files a day, applying metadata, filing the files away, and detecting input errors.
Got a great idea? A new feature or extension for our products? Drop us a line! NAPC is a meritocracy: great ideas get attention and get rolled into our solutions.
If you think our software is awesome, you should see our customers who have helped steer the way!
Bugs. We hate ’em. While our developers do have a full time QA person dedicated to releasing the best and cleanest code everyday, stuff happens.
If you see something, say something. Every now and then we drop a little goodie on bug discoverers, so please, help us help you.
A major brick and mortar retailer ingests up to many thousands of product images every day. Either the photo studio or product supplier contributes photography and a PIM system delivers metadata for new files as well as changed metadata for existing files. NAPC wrote a refined ingestion process saving countless hours, reducing errors, and speeding up time-to-market.
A major global auction house needed in-house photography to be ingested into their production system with metadata applied and automatically generate several different resolutions and color profiles to each file, and then file the new versions away into a predictable path for a 3rd party application to retrieve; NAPC enabled this automated functionality via Xinet’s API.
A very large shoe retailer revamped their e-commerce system to be able to programmatically pull a specific size and colorspace preview for all photos of a single item. Since Xinet doesn’t enable this action natively NAPC wrote a hook for the client’s e-commerce system to call. As part of the project NAPC worked with the client to create a metadata element for the e-commerce sites and designed a way to embed this data in each file.
One of the world’s most well-known audio brands had 2-competing needs for their retail presence – holding onto data for many years while not adding storage each year to keep pace with the data growth. Using integrated archiving NAPC enabled keeping as much data as needed in an intuitive, easy to use archival system. Initially going to tape but now cloud, archiving has become second nature to this client who actually saves money since users are comfortable archiving assets off of spinning disk quickly after jobs are closed.
A major paint manufacturer needed a way to match products visually. NAPC built an image matching program atop Xinet that allowed their users to drag and drop images into a browser, which called out to the ‘Tineye’ search resource for image matches. We wrote the interface as well as enabled the ability to automatically RIP and send preview images to a 3rd party engine.
A major retailer wanted to integrate Xinet with Comasoft. NAPC assisted their in house developers and worked with Comasoft personnel to assist in getting this up and running with suggested best practices.
One of the top-3 national pizza chains ran an internal website for their stores to log into and wanted that login to pass through to Xinet to enable a seamless experience. A major caveat was not wanting end user credentials ingested into the AD forest where the Xinet server lived. NAPC wrote an authentication login securely allowing only qualified users through.
So you don’t have to. With expertise ranging from DAM to SAAS to databases, we can help.
