New add-on makes it easy to gather
a wide range of information on Xinet usage.
Chicago, IL—September 9, 2007 — NAPC (www.napc.com)
today announced the release of Report Generator, an essential plug-in
that lets WebNative and FullPress administrators gather specific
information about their users, assets and system resources, greatly
simplifying tasks such as job invoicing and resource allocation.
Report Generator includes dozens of ready-to-use reports that can
be easily outputted with a click of a button. Administrators can
quickly create Excel spreadsheets from raw data, effortlessly generate
invoices for billable work using convenient pre-built templates,
or deliver CSV files to finance.
“A reporting function has been the #1 feature request from
our customers and the missing piece in our BrandControl suite of
Xinet tools,” said Kenny Kirsch, NAPC’s Director of
Strategic Solutions. “We’re glad to be able to provide
our customers with an important solution for challenges such as
rights management and resource allocation.”
Administrators can use Report Generator to uncover a wide range
of information, including: user login/logout activity; number of
print jobs in a given time period; what files staff worked on; how
often a file was downloaded, printed, previewed and more; how much
server space a client is using; daily, weekly and monthly statistics
on usage for volumes and spoolers; and much more. In addition, administrators
can create their own customizable, user-defined reports.
Intuitive design and user-friendly features abound in Report Generator,
enabling users to find and distribute information with unprecedented
ease. “We’ve made Report Generator one of our easiest
tools to use by incorporating templates, scheduling and user interface
enhancements developed with AJAX” said Kirsch.
Administrators, for example, can now schedule automated delivery
of reports via e-mail and take advantage of easy, Web-based sharing,
which allows users to exchange report data with others simply by
logging in to the same site or e-mailing a link.
Report Generator is accessible from the Brand Control portal, which
provides access to NAPC’s complete suite of Xinet tools: Elegant
for giving image libraries a simple and intuitive interface, CreativeBanks
for creating a client-facing front-end, Native Security for enhanced
password protection and nTransit for distributing large files. Brand
Control is provided free to all NAPC customers.
